BOB CAMPBELL is a Lawrence, Kansas based actor
and narrator whose versatility is a legend in
his own mind. "I'll try almost anything," he says.
After a long career as a public relations exec,
he took early retirement in 1998 to concentrate
on film acting and voice work. He has been active
in commercials, corporate videos and independent
films. Probably most noted was a Capital Federal
TV spot in which he was a computer-illiterate
grandfather, a case of unabashed typecasting.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Bob is
married to a beautiful Kansas farm girl named
Trudy and they have six grandsons. For a day job,
he is self-employed as a consultant and writer,
chiefly with nonprofit organizations. He is a
busy volunteer, having recorded books and newspapers
at KU's Audio Reader Network for 24 years.
